Obituary

Austin David Bacon, 19-year-old resident of Nimrod, MN passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 15 at United Methodist Church in Sebeka. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Montrose Cemetery in Bullard Township.

Austin was born on August 6, 1999 to Cory and Kim Bacon in Wadena, MN. He attended Sebeka Schools, where through his elementary years he played basketball, baseball, and football. My heart was sadden when I read of the sudden loss of your son, Austin and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. To lose a precious child, a part of you, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He hears your prayers, sees your tears and feels your pain. Please go to jw.org to read in the Bible at John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but lovingly gives assurance that you will have your son in your life once again without all the pain we see today. Until God’s promises come true may every good thought, every memory of the love you felt, flood and overtake you with calm and peace to help you through the dark moments. Please go to jw.org for more encouraging scriptures and videos to help heal your broken heart 💔

Our sympathies and prayers are with you all at such a loss. It has been 29 years since we lost our Jamie, age 11, and even though your hearts are broken, God has a plan and you must know that we will be together with all our loved ones as HE has promised. May God grant you peace and comfort in the time ahead. Lean on each other and share the wonderful times and memories. God bless you all. You have our deepest sympathies and prayers; Jackie, Jay and families.
