I don't want to take up too much time because I just know she would hate all the attention and bragging about her, so I just would like to highlight 3 things that I've always admired about her, maybe they will even spark some memories for you too.

Number one is how cool she was. I've met other grandmas and have always considered mine to be the coolest: from drinking mountain dew, wearing flared jeans, that spunky personality, taking us "charging" or slipping us a $20 bill just because, she definitely stood out from the other grandmas I know.

Number two, do I even need to mention the food? The meals, the sides, the desserts, so many of my childhood memories involve food. I don't know if she ever made anything I didn't like (but to be honest she probably didn't because if we told her we didn't like an ingredient, she would make one for us special without it :)

Number 3, how big her heart was. I mean it had to be pretty big to fit a piece of all of us inside of it. She would always make sure we had what we needed without expecting anything in return. You could always feel the love being around her and that's probably why it was always so exciting to be around her and so hard to leave.

I have always considered myself to be a little bit more of a grandpa's girl than a grandma's girl, but I was always watching her in an admirable way and I hope that she is now watching over me the same way :)

There are so many memories that I could share. Baking, camping, crafting and playing cards to name a few. I’m so grateful that she is my grandma

I’m so grateful that she is my grandma ♥️ I loved spending time with her even if it was sitting on the couch watching tv to running around town. She’s such an amazing strong woman when I grow up I want to be like her. She will be so missed ♥️ Love you grandma!!

I will always remember our talks, whether it was about how the cats came into her house, stories about how she used to play tricks on John or just plain asking me why I would marry her son. (With the best smirk ever). :) Loved her amazing sense of humor, spending holidays with her, and just having coffee (even though mine was ice tea). She was loved by many and will be missed by all. We sure will miss you! Xoxo Big hugs!
