So sorry to learn of Debbie's passing and so sorry for your loss. Debbie was a student of mine in the Master in Liberal Studies program. She shared her passion for theater, playwriting, character development and Greece, along with her engagement with her studies with fellow classmates and professors. Sending my condolences.

I was a fellow student in a class Debbie took as part of her Master's program. Though I hardly knew her, all of the gentleness, kindness and thoughtfulness that others so eloquently describe here were apparent even to me--a relative stranger. I respected her eagerness to learn and engage in dialogue. Peace and comfort to all who knew and loved her.

I will miss Debbie she had a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. We had so many interesting conversations while working together. I am so happy she finished her play that she was proud of and getting the chance to go back to Greece where so was so inspired. She loved her family so much. It is not the same without her at work. Rest in peace you will be a shinning star in the heavens

It was a shock to us all who worked with Debbie to hear the news of her passing. She had a gentile spirit and was kind to everyone. She made the best lentil soup too! I will miss our conversations. My condolences to her family.

I was in a complete shock and extremely sad to know that my former supervisor has passed away. I had the honor to work for Debbie since late 2014 - 2016. She had witnessed my growth in personal life, as well as education and professional career since I was a 18 year old, a freshman student in college until post graduation. For me, Debbie was more than a supervisor, but an extended family member. She was a very sweet and caring supervisor that deep down in my heart, I don't think I will encounter another supervisor like her in my future career. I appreciated and will always remember the memories that I had with Debbie. During the time worked in Registrar's Office, everyone in my family had the honor to meet Debbie. From my parents, sister and I, we are greatly sorry for your family's loss. May Debbie rest in peace!
