Obituary for Dolores (Dee) Smith

Dolores B. (Dee) Smith age 89 of Brainerd passed away on September 22, 2019 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Fergus Falls. Dolores was born May 19, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Veronica (Hogue) and Dudley Wright. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; brothers, Rich Wright, Ron Wright, and Chuck Wright; sister, Phyllis Tuomi; sisters-in-law, Bess Lorence and Bernell Wright; brother-in-law, Wiljo Tuomi

She will be deeply missed by her children, Claude (Elise) of Breezy Point, Deborah Smith of Fifty Lakes, Scott Smith of Brainerd, and Vanessa (Dave) Rosekrans of Fort Ripley; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great, great, grandson; brother, Doug (Kari) Wright; sisters-in-law, Shirley Wright and Mickey (Clem) Larson; also many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Dolores will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at the Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center, 512 S. 8th Street in Brainerd. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. Interment Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
