Ms. Hanson was my 2nd grade teacher. She loved her students and made them mind. It was having teachers like Ms. Hanson that inspired me to be a teacher too. I teach school in Frisco, TX. I have been in education for over 20 years. She was a wonderful lady. Thoughts are with your family. Mark Hardesty

Thank you, Mark. Teaching is something my grandma cared so much about. She told stories of those days through my whole childhood, and up until her final days. It was a profession that she was truly born to do. When she was a little girl (back in the depression days), her dad bought her a used and out of tune piano to play on. Wouldn't you know, without ever having a single lesson and absolutely no experience, she somehow managed to tune that piano all by herself, and shortly after was able to read and play sheet music. My grandma was such a role model for me, and by far the sweetest woman I've ever known. She will be forever missed, and never forgotten.
