When I first met Daren in 1975, he told me of his Aunt who was so beautiful and sweet. He wasn't wrong. She always treated me with love and respect even after Daren passed. I was always a part of the family in her eyes which meant more to me than she would have ever known. I always knew I had a friend and Aunt in her, I will miss her. I know Daren, Verna and everyone else is dancing with her today.

In 2005 we moved to the area and Dort sure made us feel welcome. From wheeler rides to picnics in the field we had so much fun. Dort’s sense of style and glitz was right up my alley and I loved being around her. Her smile and laugh will be in my heart forever. To the family I wish you peace during this most difficult time
