Obituary for Joseph Jay Ruether

Joseph Jay Ruether, age 49, of Baxter passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020. Joe was born on September 28, 1970 in Appleton, Minnesota to Greg & Mary (Johannsen) Ruether. Joe married the love of his life, Jodie Washburn on February 14, 2003.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jodie; children: Treyton Ruether of Holloway; Amara and Myah Ruether of Baxter; father, Greg Ruether of Appleton; mother, Mary Miller of Appleton; sisters; Alana (Peter) Rens of Appleton, Kim (Jim) Stock of Morris, LouEllen (Trevor) Ruether of Appleton; mother in law, Terri Kautz of Baxter; nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded in death by his father in law, Robert Kautz.
A memorial service for Joe will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center (512 S 8th St, Brainerd). Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery.

    A memorial service for Joe will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center (512 S 8th St, Brainerd). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 4-7PM at the funeral home and one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery.
