Obituary for Kenny Arthur Petersen

Kenneth Arthur Petersen, age 97, of Nisswa, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 in Park Rapids, at the Care Age Country Home. Kenny was born near Brainerd on June 15, 1923 to Densmore & Minnie (Rowher) Petersen. He married Maxine Olson on October 18, 1947. He worked as a marine mechanic for Nisswa Marine for 47 years. Kenny liked tinkering in his shed, classic country music, and garage sales.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Doug (Maria) Petersen, Greg Petersen, and Mark (Stormie) Petersen; grandchildren: Sheila (Mike) Teitz, Stephanie Petersen, Dawn (Jaques) Van derLith, Jenn Petersen; 13 great-grandchildren.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine; grandson, Branden Burnard.
A memorial service for Kenny will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11AM at Halvorson Taylor Life Events Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa.

My condolences to the Petersons. I remember Kenny as a great mechanic and "fixer". He was always patient with the Dullum rat pack. I still have a few items I picked up at one of his garage sales.
