Obituary for Ronald C Tuil

Ronald Christopher Tuil, age 86, of Baxter, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Hills Crossing in Nisswa. Ron was born in Brainerd to Chris and Velma (Rindahl) Tuil. Ron was enlisted in the US Navy as an electrician, from 1953 -1957. He married Alice Johnson on June 11, 1955. Ron worked for Potlatch for 35 years as a millwright.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Alice; son, Steven (Janice) of Adel, Iowa; daughter, Kathy (Dave Remund) Jarnagin of Burnsville; grandchildren: Erin Tuil, Roderick (Robert Heelan) Jarnagin and Adam Jarnagin.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters.
A memorial service for Ron will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11AM. Visitation will be on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4-6PM at Halvorson Taylor Funeral Home (512 South 8th Street), and one hour prior to the service, Saturday at the church. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lutheran Church youth group.
