Obituary for Thomas R Leese

Thomas R. Leese age 75 of Brainerd passed away January 15, 2020 at the Country Manor in Sartell.
Thomas Richard Leese was born to William Henry Leese and Ann Elizabeth (Fruth) Leese on February 26, 1944 in Brainerd. He was a graduate of Brainerd High School and attended Brainerd Junior College. He entered the Navy in January of 1965 and served in the Balboa Canal Zone. He was honorably discharged January of 1967. After completing 2 years of service, he attended St. Cloud State and worked for Pinkerton Security Services. He lived in Minneapolis for 40 years and worked for Northwestern Bank and Wells Fargo as a project manager. After retirement Tom moved to the Arbor Glenn Apartments in Baxter where he resided until his death.
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother; father; stepfather, John Welliver; infant brother, Don; brother, William; and nephew, Jeremy Leese.
He is survived by his brother, Jerry and sister-in-law, Sharon; nieces, Noelle (Jesse) Wallace, Pat (Dan) Muzzy; nephews, Tim (Sandy) Leese, and Steve Leese.
Tom was a prolific reader and enjoyed a very quiet, healthy lifestyle until recently. He enjoyed the wonderful people at Arbor Glenn Apartments. Tom will be buried at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to Habitat for Humanity.
